U Value =

U Value is the measure of heat loss or gain due to differences between inside and outside air temperatures

The lower the U value the better the insulating performance

Solar Heat Gain Coefficient =

The amount of heat transferred through a window from direct, reflected and diffused radiation is measured by SHGC ( Solar Heat Gain Coefficient ) –A high (towards 1) reading indicates high transmission of solar radiation, a low figure shows a product that limits the amount entering a building.
