Newsletter 1st July 2004

Dear friends of Moen Glass,

It is with sadness that I share with you the news of the passing of Gary Moen. The founder (along with my mother Mona) of Moen Glass way back in 1982, Gary was inspirational in his vision and passion for the company.

Double Glazing was a passion from the beginning and on the eve of new “5 star” energy regulation, it is with pride that we acknowledge his decision to take the company down the path of energy efficient window systems, has been vindicated. After your brave battle with cancer, may you rest in peace.

Moen Glass wishes Lawrie Hurley a successful change of career and you leave us with great memories. Thanks for the good times and good Luck.

Moen Glass welcomes Brendon to our growing I.T department. Moen Glass again proves it is without peer in it’s quest for world class customer service systems that help direct our production, sales and distribution efforts to meet your growing needs. You already have 2 years work ahead of you Brendon, and we haven’t started yet. Welcome aboard.

Moen Glass again contributed to the color and vibrancy of Designbuild in Melbourne during June. Our stand was again the centre of attention and was ideal for catching up over a coffee or beer with colleagues to discuss the latest goings on. Keep your eye out for more trade shows where you can again “Meet at Moen’s”.

July 1st – New regulations come into force

Confused about how you are going to react to the new 5 star energy regulations? Double Glazing is the answer. Moen Insulglass double glazing provides the builders, designers and architects with solutions that allow complete design flexibility.

Next time you put a house design through First Rate, remember to double glaze the windows for the most cost effective and practical way to take you to 5 stars. Insist on Windows that incorporate Moen Insulglass Double Glazing. That way, you are sure to get quality double glazed units at the most competitive pricing and lead times.

I look forward to catching up with many of you soon and don’t hesitate to include Moen Glass in your search for answers over the coming months.

Best Regards

Vic Moen
